Bluffs Jazz Festival, February. One day jazz festival that employs adjudicators and clinicians to high school students. An average of thirty bands participate each year.

Lincoln Northeast High School Jazz Festival, March, 1998. One day festival that employs several adjudicators and clinicians to teach large jazz ensembles and offer mini workshops for high school students.
Iowa High School Music Association Certified Adjudicator. Active adjudicator for the state association in Iowa from 1978 to 1998. Adjudication in jazz, marching, small group, all state auditions, concert bands and orchestras.
